8 Hour (ADI) Aggressive Driver Improvement

This 8 Hour Aggressive Driver course is a Court Ordered Program, referred to you by your Court, or have been ordered by a Florida Judge to complete an 8-Hour Driver Improvement class. (Point Removal)

Students are required to take this course when ordered by the courts as part of a sentencing judgment, this course is for the individual who has:

  • Received Citations for Street or Drag Racing
  • Court Ordered as part of a sentencing judgment
  • Multiple speeding violations in a short period of time
  • Multiple traffic offenses where the driver shows signs of aggressive driving
  • Pre-trial requirement, probation officer and/or judge enter into a pre-trial diversion

 

The 8 Hour Aggressive Course is intended for drivers who have been ordered by a judge to attend because they exhibit signs of aggressive driving behavior, such as: accumulating an excessive number of citations, driving with excessive speed, or unknowingly driving with a suspended license.

How do I qualify for an 8-hour driving school course?

If you have not elected to attend driving school five (5) times in a lifetime, but you have attended a 4-hour driving school course during the past 12 months, you are eligible for an 8-hour driving school course. This option is not available if you have a commercial driver license, or have been charged with exceeding the speed limit by more than 30 MPH.

 You must score 80 percent or higher on the final exam before you receive your Certificate of Completion. When the 8-Hour Driver Aggressive Improvement is successfully completed, the Completion Certificate will be e-mailed immediately and available for download from your account. All completions are automatically reported to and electronically filed with the Clerk of the Court. We encourage students to complete the course within 4-5 business days prior to the court due date to have enough time for the completions to be filed.
